PHOTOS: THE DAWN BEACH OYSTER POND HILL HOMES photos judith roumou

All the photos are slightly varied. My cousin and I had to attend a political rally, but I wasn't coming to get photos at the rally, I wanted Dawn Beach Oyster Pond photos. I live over the hill, so I rarely over at Oyster Pond, got some nice photos, and I will be posting. Visited the only casino that missed my gaming blog list, got some nice photos etc. Got great video at the Westin, at Oyster Pond community (posh), the casino. My main goal were to get as many natural photos as possible, I succeeded beautiful trees, fruit, flora and fauna (animals and plants). I had a great time, multi-tasked, got some great photos and videos and Neville got me safely home. Hope to visit Oyster Pond again soon, and just spend the day. Very quiet.......and some parts are gated. But as an Indigenous St Maartener, "gated" will not stop me, I have access to many secret "Honeycomb" Hideouts to get my photos. I hope to have Little Bay featured soon......Little Bay on an "Up Close and Personal" riddim. Many more photos. We have TWO carnivals coming up St Martin begins in two weeks, and Sint Maarten's carnival begins as St Martin's ends. We have the Heineken Regatta coming up March 6th......my birthday as usual. Getting ready to do what we've been doing four years now, bringing you closer to St Maarten. Not just the

Yes, St Maarten is as gorgeous as it appears, BUT YOU HAVE TO USE COMMON SENSE. photos judith roumou

St Maarten is a great country, and we get questions all the time about crime etc. St Maarten is safer than most countries, and the rule is, if you don't do it in your country, don't try it when you come to St Maarten. I was on location of a movie set, that filmed a TV mini-series back in St Maarten several years ago. I was going home at around dusk, when the sun has already set, but there's still light. I saw a woman jogging, down the beach, headphones on, thong bikini, no care in the world.
That's not a smart thing to do anywhere in any country, and I doubt that she jogged in her New York parks when it was dark in a thong, with headphones so that she couldn't even HEAR the muggers coming. What you have to do in St Maarten, is use common sense. Yes we are a liberal Dutch Island, but we are also made up of every country in the world, so nobody can predict anyone's actions. The same with visiting parents who let their teenagers run amok on the island where there are NO alcohol laws. I see enough tourist go about their own vacation, while their teenagers are all over the place looking for fun, and finding trouble. If you monitor your kids at home, you certainly want to monitor them in a strange country, no matter how nice it is. And if you don't do stupid stuff like jogging alone in a thong in the darkness, don't do it in St Maarten, there's a lot of stupid people out there.
Enjoy 2014

VIDEO YORKS CELEBRATE A STEEL PAN CHRISTMAS IN PHILIPSBURG ST MAARTEN

There is no Christmas in St Maarten without Christmas Carols to Steelpan music. St Maarten welcomed 8 cruise ships on Wednesday, and there was a lot of live entertainment to entertain the visitors. As you can see in the video, even the tourist were dancing down Mainstreet. I shot these videos some days ago, there are three. I will post the other Christmas in St Maarten videos.
Enjoy the Yorks music, and enjoy your holidays

PHOTOS ISLAND HOPPING 5 ISLANDS ONE DAY ANGUILLA, PRICKLY PEAR, DOG ISLAND, SANDY ISLAND AND ST MAARTEN/ST MARTIN photos judith roumou

Head to Philipsburg, Ray picks me up, we go to St Martin to the Marigot Marina, Rich is there with some girls, they're European and Surinames, ones a doctor with her daughter, and I teach them to booty shake. We get on the boat, and hit 5 islands in one afternoon. I did a dance video on Prickly Pear, and I was the ONLY person on the island. Everyone was on the boat. I waded to the beach, there's like a shed I put my camera on the ledge, and recorded myself dancing, and Youtubed it. I don't think I've ever been the only person on an island. It's a weird and somewhat eerie  feeling, but it was the best.

30 photos the sxm dream FREE RUM SAMPLING FOR ADULTS, THE KIDS CAN HAVE FUN OUTSIDE :)

Here I am at the Guavaberry Factory on Frontstreet. I did not partake in the free rum sampling that they have every day, I was interested in getting a few photos inside, which I did. It was fun. As I photographed the adults inside selecting their bottles of local rum as souvenirs (free delivery to the ship), I also managed to get photos of their kids, who have to remain outside. Well the kids seemed to be having as much fun as the adults.
